The Rock Calls Conflict a "Good Thing" After Shading 'Fast 8' Co-Stars

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has gone from calling his Fast and Furious co-stars "candyasses" to calling them "family" in a new Instagram post in which he argues "conflict can be a good thing." The shade was rumored to be about Vin Diesel, though some, like us, have debunked a Rock-Diesel feud.

Earlier in the week, The Rock called out his male co-stars for being unprofessional and said they were too "chicken shit" to do anything about being called out. On Wednesday, The Rock posted a video in celebration of his final week of shooting for Fast 8, the eighth installment in the Fast franchise. He talked about "team effort" before continuing to say a family is bound to have problems but that in the end it only makes them stronger.

"And like with any team - that's a family - there's gonna be conflict," he wrote. "Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it."

Sources had told TMZ that the two franchise badasses were going to meet Tuesday. A source "intimately familiar" with the actors confirmed the meeting happened in The Rock's trailer but said the beef wasn't settled. Diesel has reportedly finished filming since the alleged beef and post-beef meeting.

Fast co-star Tyrese assured fans he's never had a problem with The Rock and wasn't one of the "candy asses" in a now deleted Instagram post. In the post, Tyrese also said he didn't know who The Rock was talking about or the problems he was referring to—though he did say he wouldn't talk even if he did know.

"Does any of us know why bro decided to jump out there with his post? No...... Would one assume that IF he's going to jump out there and generalize and say 'Male Co-Stars' he would be more clear and call out names??? Of course he should of," Gibson wrote.
