Will Smith has some exciting sequels in the works.

The Oscar-winning actor appeared on streamer xQc’s Twitch to reveal news about I Am Legend 2.

“Me and Michael B. Jordan have sat down for about a week, just went through character stuff,” Smith said. “That’s a real thing. I’d love to work with that dude."

Smith also shared a bit of information about Hancock 2, which he described as “really cool,” explaining that Zendaya is being “approached” for a role in the film.

Will has been teasing an I Am Legend sequel for a while now. Back in December 2023, he said that he was already in talks with MBJ and that the script had been sent in.

Last year, Smith discussed the sequel again. In an Instagram video to fans, he opened up about having I Am Legend flashbacks when he visited Zürich, Switzerland.

"A little walk through the streets of Zürich," Smith told fans. "I’ve never been to Zürich before. This is the first time. Our plane couldn’t take off so we had to stay the night in Zürich. And it’s all mine. It is so quiet."

"I’m having I Am Legend flashbacks," Smith added. "Looking for Fred. What you doing out here, Fred?"

Smith played virologist Robert Neville in the 2007 film, which sees him attempting to cure a plague with his immune blood. The movie also had two different endings.
