Apparently, men don’t want other men to get a good night's sleep.

That’s why TikTok’s latest trend, which encourages men to call their friends before bed to wish them goodnight, is so funny. It seems like most of the videos are filmed by a wife, fiancé, or girlfriend.

Celebrities are also participating in the prank, like Jake Paul, who called Adin Ross to wish him goodnight. Unlike some of the other videos, Ross seemed to be into it.

“No way you just called me to say goodnight,” Ross said after picking up. “Yeah, bro, I just hope you sleep really well,” Paul said, who added that he wishes he could “tuck” Adin in for the night. That prompted Ross to say, “That means the world.” Ross then said he wanted to take Jake shopping, which caused the boxer and influencer to laugh and hang up.

However, others weren't having it—or they already knew about the prank. A number of NFL players participated in the trend, including Washington Commanders player, Mikey Sainristil who called his teammates, and Seattle Seahawks player, AJ Barner who called his teammate, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Bryan Colbert Jr.—a member of the broadcast crew for the Commanders—also called a handful of players, including Santana Moss, Logan Paulsen, and Fred Smoot.

Streamer Zias also took part in the prank, calling both Lil Yachty—who revealed Paul had just called him too—and DDG.

Take a look at some more people who participated in the prank below.
