Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old TikTok influencer who shared her cancer journey with her nearly 140,000 followers, has died less than a year after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Phelan’s family confirmed her passing in a statement shared to her TikTok account on Saturday (May 24). The online star passed away the day prior.

"It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," read the post as shared on TikTok. "So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith."

"Thank you for the countless thousands of prayers for healing and peace," the family continued. "May we all rejoice with the assurance that she is in Heaven now, and she has been healed. Let us also remember that the only path to the promised kingdom of Heaven is through salvation in Jesus Christ."

Phelan, originally from Florida and living in Georgia, had recently graduated high school in Jefferson, was working as a receptionist at a medical practice, and was actively involved in her local Christian church, according to People.

She began experiencing symptoms in the summer of 2024, just before she was set to begin college.

Phelan later revealed she had been diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant glioma—a fast-growing brain tumor, per a GoFundMe page set up by her family.

In a September 2024 video announcing her diagnosis, Phelan told her followers, "This is definitely the hardest news I've ever received. By all means, this is not easy. Just going to trust in the Lord and try and keep pushing forward."

Sadly, the influencer revealed worsening symptoms, such as difficulty breathing and dizziness, but she continued to post updates and moments with family and friends.

On May 14, Phelan had spoken about the progression of her cancer, noting that the tumor had grown and became inoperable.

Per her obituary, Phelan is survived by her parents, William “Buddy” Phelan and Nadine Phelan, her brother Harper, four grandparents, and a “host of aunts, uncles and cousins, who love her very much.”

Phelan’s funeral is scheduled to take place in Georgia on Thursday, May 29.
