Another Spider-Man cast member is engaged.

Jacob Batalon proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Veronica Leahov, on Wednesday in New York City. Photos of his proposal show him kneeling in front of a heart-shaped flower display, with the NYC skyline in full view and a neon sign that said, “Will you marry me?”

He captioned the set of Instagram photos, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”

Leahov was clearly shocked; photographs show her hand covering her mouth before accepting.

“A lifetime of us!!!!” she wrote on IG. “I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion. This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!”

According to TMZ, Leahov is an architectural designer. Batalon has been starring in Spider-Man movies since 2017, as Peter Parker's best friend, Ned Leeds. That year, he appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, reprising the role in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

At the top of this year, rumors abounded that the actual Spider-Man was engaged. Speculation began brewing for Zendaya and Tom Holland in early January when the Dune actress was seen wearing an engagement ring at the Golden Globes.

Sources subsequently revealed that Holland proposed during the Christmas-New Year holiday season. His dad, Dominic Holland, later confirmed the news on Patreon.

"Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared," Dominic wrote. "He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear."
