The streamer was banned earlier this month when she appeared to steal from a Target store during a live stream.

Nina Lin has let it be known that reports circulating online about her being permanently banned from Twitch are false.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday (December 18), the 24-year-old streamer shared a screenshot of an X post claiming she had been banned for good, writing: "Ain't no way mfs making shit up now. Y'all are obsessed dw I'll be back."

As of press time, if users visit Lin's Twitch profile, her account appears to be deactivated, displaying the error message: "This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

Earlier this month, Nina Lin was accused of shoplifting at Target while live-streaming and was subsequently banned from Twitch. It’s unclear if it’s the reason why she’s currently banned.

During the last weekend in November, a clip showed her buying her items at self-checkout, where she appeared to use a scanner gun to scan only one item, even though she had two in her hand.

It also seemed like Lin confessed to shoplifting during the same stream. "I'm telling you, bro, even if it was the steaks … ain't nobody missing no fucking money, bitch. Calm the fuck down," Lin said.

She then showed a shoe she claimed she had also stolen. "I got these from Target too, guys. Guess how much I paid? Free-99. Get mad, bitch."

This isn't the first time Lin has been banned from Twitch. In October, Lin and Zoe Spencer's respective profiles were deactivated after a resurfaced clip showed Lin appearing to hold down Said, assistant to FaZe Silky, while Spencer twerked on him in a non consensual manner. Lin later issued an apology.
