Millie Bobby Brown to Photographer at ‘Stranger Things’ Premiere: ‘Smile? You Smile!’

Millie Bobby Brown didn’t mince words when yelling at paparazzi.

A clip of the actress walking the red carpet at the London premiere of Stranger Things’ final season showed a photographer asking her to smile and Brown snapping back, visibly annoyed.

"Smile?" she yelled back, while pointing at them. "You smile!"

In recent months, the 21-year-old hasn’t been afraid to bite her tongue. Back in March, she slammed journalists who criticized her appearance.

“I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me,” Brown said in an Instagram video. “Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things Season 1. And because I don’t, I’m now a target.”

She continued, “This isn’t journalism. This is bullying. The fact that adult writers are spending their time dissecting my face, my body, my choices, it’s disturbing. The fact that some of these articles are written by women? Even worse.”

Earlier this month, Brown also made headlines for rumors that she accused her co-star, David Harbour, of “bullying” and harassing her on set. While Brown and Harbour haven’t responded, they did pose together at the Hollywood premiere of Stranger Things’ final season, indicating that the rumors are just that.

Season 5 of the Netflix hit rolls out in three waves, starting on Nov. 26 and concluding on Dec. 31.
