Watch the New Trailer for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder' Starring Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth

The new trailer for 'Thor: Love and Thunder' sees appearances from Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson in the fourth 'Thor' chapter.

The new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is here.

The clip sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster—the first time we’ve seen her since 2013’s Thor: The Dark World—who takes on the title of Mighty Thor in lieu of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Tessa Thompson, and Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista also make a comeback, and Christian Bale and Russell Crowe make their first appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Taika Waititi helmed Love and Thunder following Thor’s reprisal in Thor: Ragnorak in 2017, with Waititi calling the new movie “the craziest thing” he’s ever done as a filmmaker. It’s Thor’s fourth solo film, making Hemsworth the first Marvel actor to earn headline a fourth film in the MCU. Last we saw Thor was in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, where he was out of shape and depressed after he didn’t end up defeating Thanos. But now, it seems like Thor is attempting to get back in the game, with his ex Foster potentially standing in his way.

Love and Thunder is set to arrive in theaters this summer on July 8.
