Kim Kardashian Reshares 2012 Instagram Post Quoting Kanye

The post quoted Ye and Jay-Z's song, "No Church in the Wild."

Kim Kardashian saluted her ex on Instagram on New Year’s Day.

The mother of four took to her IG Story to reshare a post from 2012. “Sunglasses & Advil...last night was mad trill,” the caption read, alongside exactly just that—sunglasses and Advil.

Kim was quoting Kanye West's opening track, “No Church in the Wild” from his and Jay-Z’s 2011 album, Watch the Throne.

“Sunglasses and Advil / Last night was mad real / Sun coming up, 5 a.m. / I wonder if they got cabs still,” Ye raps in the second verse—a nod to a long night of partying and its dizzying after effects.

On New Year’s Eve, Kim took to IG to share her family's holiday photos, including her kids North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and her son Mason, and Khloé’s son Tatum.

Yeezy didn’t appear in any of the pictures. In mid-November, Kim addressed his absence from their kids’ lives.

"It's not something that I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment or people always will jump to the, 'Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help,'” she said on the What in the Winkler? podcast. “And I just think that no matter what kind of help I have, basically raising four kids by myself.”
