Huda Mustafa’s boyfriend is no longer seeking partial custody of his son.
TMZ reports that Louis Russell withdrew his custody battle with his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Olivera, over their one-year-old child, Luka. Russell had previously claimed that she meddled with his custody time. He asked that the dismissal be filed without prejudice, meaning that the case could be refiled if necessary.
Court documents obtained by the outlet show that Russell, who is also a reality TV star, told the court on April 28 that he wanted to drop his case against Olivera. Russell previously accused his ex of “unreasonably” cutting short his time with their kid, even after Russell said Huda wouldn’t spend time with Luka.
He also alleged that Olivera used their son as a “bargaining chip,” and “threatened to move before and did so when we were in the UK.” Their issues prompted him to request that the court schedule an emergency hearing, at which he would ask for joint legal custody and a more detailed co-parenting arrangement.
In mid-March, Olivera filed for a temporary restraining order against Mustafa, accusing the controversial reality star of making alarming statements, including threats directed at her and others, and attempting to access Olivera’s Los Angeles residence.
Mustafa reportedly responded to the restraining order on her Instagram Story, claiming that Olivera’s allegations were untrue.
"Im aware of what's being said and it's not true," Mustafa wrote. "Im handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it. I appreciate everyone who continues to support me."
