Love Island alum Huda Mustafa has responded to the restraining order filed by the ex-girlfriend of her partner, Louis Russell.
According to TMZ, Nicole Olivera claimed in a lawsuit filed last week that Mustafa had repeatedly threatened her and her one-year-old son, Luka-Kai, whom Olivera shares with Russell. In court documents, Olivera claimed that Mustafa once flew from North Carolina to Los Angeles to "threatened to jump off buildings, swearing on her daughter's life that she was going to kill herself."
The woman added that the reality television star allegedly made "terrifying and extremely mentally unstable threats" for twelve hours against her, her son with Russell, along with Mustafa’s five-year-old daughter, Arleigh, from a previous relationship. The alleged incident was said to have occurred on February 21, when Oliveria claims that Mustafa arrived to her LA home and threatened to “knock their doors down.”
Since the allegations surfaced, Mustafa posted an Instagram Story this week, per People, claiming that Olivera’s allegations were untrue.
"Im [sic] aware of what's being said and it's not true," Mustafa wrote. "Im [sic] handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it. I appreciate everyone who continues to support me."
A judge has since granted a temporary restraining order which declares that Mustafa must remain 100 feet away from Olivera, her son and their home. The former Love Island star and her boyfriend have been at the center of controversy before, both previously laughing at Mustafa’s former cast mate, Olandria Carthen, being referred to as the n-word on an Instagram Live last October. The incident resulted in Mustafa losing a brand deal with cosmetics brand Huda Beauty.
