Chud the Builder’s bond has been revoked.
Fox17 reports that the Davidson County District Attorney’s office inquired about reversing the controversial streamer’s bond, and a judge granted the request on Wednesday (June 17).
The bond was for charges stemming from an incident in early May, when Chud reportedly refused to pay his bill at a Nashville restaurant.
Chud, born Dalton Eatherly, is set to appear in court later this month. In the meantime, he’ll be transported back to the Montgomery County Jail, where his bail remains $1 million for allegedly shooting Joshua Fox, a Black disabled veteran, outside of a Tennessee courthouse.
Eatherly was already out on bond when the shooting incident happened. On May 9, he was arrested for failing to pay a restaurant tab of nearly $400. He was charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, but he was released after posting bail.
Days later, on May 13, he purportedly tried to kill a man, for which he has been charged with attempted murder, employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. The bond agreement in his first case required him to stay out of trouble, resulting in a violation.
Per WJHL, prosecutors on Wednesday shared Eatherly’s social media posts and videos created before the shooting. Authorities said the posts were “violent and racist” and “demonstrated concerning behavior.”
Judge Melissa Blackburn agreed to revoke Eatherly’s bail “based on what I've seen on social media and Mr. Eatherly's behavior,” according to TMZ.
Eatherly’s attorney, Jacob Fendley, has filed a motion to toss the charges.
