Former President Barack Obama is celebrating another birthday, and getting some love from his wife of three decades.

Michelle Obama took to Instagram Monday, August 4 to wish her hubby a happy birthday, writing, "Happy birthday to my love, my best friend, my everything! @BarackObama, even after all these years, you’re still the coolest guy I know."

She concluded the post, featuring a photo of the two in a sweet embrace, with pink heart emojis.

Obama turns 64 this year, a birthday he celebrates eight years after his term as commander in chief. The post was filled with comments from fans sharing birthday messages and joking they wished there was a way to get him back in the White House.

While the couple no longer lives in the White House, they certainly are no strangers to continuing to make headlines.

Just last week, on her IMO podcast, Obama drew some attention when she mentioned ESPN host Stephen A. Smith, saying, "If I listen to ESPN for an hour, it’s like watching ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’… It’s the same drama, and they’re yelling at each other… I mean, Stephen A. Smith, he’s just like every other talk show host.”

Smith reacted to Obama's comments over the weekend, addressing them on The Stephen A. Smith Show. Looking directly into the camera, he said, "I respectfully disagreed and still remain pretty salty about what you said about us."

Smith then went on to criticize the former prez and comments he made during Kamala Harris' bid for the White House. More specifically, he took issue with Obama's words aimed at black men when he urged them to vote for Harris.

Smith said, "There are issues that matter to every American citizen, and to sort of blackmail us emotionally to try and compel us to vote one way or another is what won Trump the election."
