A scary moment during Katy Perry's recent concert in Detroit as a fan collapsed on stage during the duet segment of the show.

Perry brought her The Lifetimes Tour to Little Caesars Arena on Sunday, August 3. At one point during the show, Perry brought four fans onto the stage to help her perform a duet of her hit "The One That Got Away."

All seemed to be going well as Perry went along and introduced the fans to the crowd until one dropped to the ground, seemingly overwhelmed by the moment.

Perry immediately started to provide assistance to the fan while crew members and first responders joined in, the crowd chanted "McKenna" in an attempt to get the young fan back onto her feet.

Finally, the fan was helped off the stage and a short time later, Perry addressed the incident, leading the crowd in prayer: “Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen.”

Perry then added, "It’s so much. Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and it’s overwhelming. I understand that feeling.” Many online praised Perry for her efforts in helping McKenna after she went down.

It's been a week of headlines for Perry, who was spotted on a dinner date in Montreal last week with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The two sat in a private section of a posh restaurant in the city, sharing lobster and deep conversation.

Trudeau was then seen in the crowd at Perry's tour stop in Montreal a few days later, joined by his 16-year-old daughter.

The meetups have certainly generated some buzz the two might be dating as Perry is recently split from Orlando Bloom. Trudeau and his wife divorced back in August 2023.

In a joint statement announcing their split, reps for the two said, "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
