LEGO is officially expanding its partnership with Nintendo, giving fans another brick-built reason to revisit The Legend of Zelda.
According to Engadget, the newly revealed LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle set is slated to arrive on March 1, following the franchise’s first major LEGO release, the Great Deku Tree set that debuted in 2024.
Clocking in at 1,003 pieces, the upcoming release is more compact than last year’s 2,500-piece Deku Tree, but it zeroes in on one of the most iconic moments in Zelda history: the climactic showdown inside Ganondorf’s crumbling castle from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The set recreates the ruined battlefield where Link and Princess Zelda face off against Ganondorf at the end of the beloved Nintendo 64 title.
The build centers on a partially collapsed castle environment, complete with hidden details tucked into the rubble. LEGO included three heart pieces concealed within the structure, a subtle nod longtime players will immediately recognize. One of the more interactive elements allows builders to trigger Ganondorf’s dramatic reveal by pressing a button that lifts him from the debris.
Minifigures for Link and Princess Zelda are included, with Link equipped with his Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Navi also appears in transparent form, designed to float alongside Link for display. The standout figure, however, is a large, poseable Ganon—Ganondorf’s beastly final form—which towers over the scene and anchors the set visually.
Notably, this release sticks to classic LEGO construction despite the company’s recent unveiling of its new Smart Brick technology at CES.
LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle is available for pre-order now and officially launches March 1 with a retail price of $130.
