Skai Jackson is not holding back when it comes to controversial streamer Braden Eric Peters, better known online as Clavicular. During a lengthy livestream, Jackson accused the influencer of being racist, arrogant, and deeply insecure despite the appearance-focused image that has helped make him one of the internet's most talked-about personalities.
Speaking directly to viewers, Jackson said she finds Clavicular's public persona off-putting and questioned the attitudes he promotes online. "I think he's actually pretty, like, a little obnoxious," she said during the stream. Jackson also alleged that "Clav is really racist."
The comments arrive as Clavicular continues to attract attention for his role in the increasingly controversial "looksmaxxing" movement. The 20-year-old creator built a massive following on TikTok, Kick, and other platforms by promoting extreme appearance-enhancement techniques and self-improvement philosophies centered on physical attractiveness.
His content has frequently sparked debate, particularly because of his discussions around steroid use, facial "bonesmashing," and other practices that critics have described as dangerous or pseudoscientific.
Jackson argued that the obsession with appearance may actually reflect deeper personal issues. "I do think he is probably one of the most insecure people that I have seen," she said. "For someone to put more into their looks than a female does and do all these crazy things."
While criticizing his behavior, Jackson acknowledged that Clavicular is conventionally attractive, calling him "good-looking," but added that he "needs to have a positive attitude."
The actress also suggested that Clavicular's treatment of others may stem from past experiences. "I feel like somebody, I don't know if he was bullied in school maybe, or people treated him poorly," Jackson said. "So now that he has like this fame and he's looksmaxing, or whatever you want to call it, I feel like now he feels like, oh, I have the world in my hands, and I could just treat people any type of way."
Jackson's criticism comes against the backdrop of a turbulent year for Clavicular. The influencer has repeatedly generated headlines for controversies ranging from livestream incidents and arrests to his affiliations with polarizing online figures.
He has also faced scrutiny over the use of racial slurs, comments linked to extremist-adjacent communities, and content promoting risky body-modification practices.
Earlier this year, he publicly acknowledged struggling with substance abuse and was hospitalized following a drug overdose during a livestream. Afterward, he said the substances were "just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public."
