New Kids on the Block aren’t coasting into the finish line of their Las Vegas residency—they’re tearing it up and starting over.
The group has announced to Billboard that the final 16 shows of their Dolby Live run at Park MGM will return this summer as a fully reworked production, featuring a new setlist, updated wardrobe, and retooled staging under the banner The Right Stuff Remixed.
The updated run will roll out across select dates in June, July, and October, with organizers promising changes across the board, including “enhanced fan experiences” and elements built specifically for the Vegas venue.
“We have the greatest fans ever, and this run of shows gives us one more chance to celebrate with them,” Donnie Wahlberg said, framing the overhaul as a direct response to the group’s audience.
The residency itself has been a key piece of New Kids’ current run, which stretches back to their 2008 reunion after more than a decade apart. What started as a comeback has turned into a second act with real staying power, including new music and a steady touring presence.
Their 2024 album Still Kids landed on the Billboard 200.
Wahlberg has also been candid about where he’s at personally while all of this is happening. In a recent interview, he described hitting a wall despite having a successful career and a stable home life.
“Everything to the outside world looks perfect, and I was empty,” he said to George Janko, explaining that the past year forced him to reevaluate how he was moving through both his career and personal life.
He added that the shift has changed how he approaches performing, moving away from relying solely on himself.
That moment didn’t happen in isolation. Wahlberg and his wife, Jenny McCarthy, have both spoken about becoming more intentional with their faith in recent months, integrating it into their day-to-day lives.
