MrBeast is pushing back after an OnlyFans creator circulated an AI-generated image that falsely appeared to show the YouTube star posing with her.

According to Newsweek, the controversy began when an X, formerly Twitter, account run under the name “Akira,” using the handle @Akiraaabunny, shared an image showing her standing beside MrBeast at what appeared to be a professional YouTube production.

In the image, Akira wears a pink dress and flashes a peace sign, while MrBeast appears to have his arm around her waist. Camera equipment and a YouTube logo are visible in the background, and the post was captioned, “exited [sic] for the video.”

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, publicly shut down the claim. Responding directly on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: “Can we not use fake AI images of me to promote your garbage trash fake AI onlyfans?”

The post quickly gained traction, surpassing 1.6 million views, and was later flagged with a community note clarifying that the image was AI-generated.

The account that shared the image links to an OnlyFans profile under the same name, though it remains unclear who is actually operating the account. Akira’s feed includes several other AI-generated pictures of women with similar facial features and body types.

The incident highlights a growing issue for public figures navigating increasingly realistic AI content online.

Reaction to MrBeast’s response was mixed. While many fans defended him and criticized the use of fabricated imagery, others argued that publicly engaging only amplified attention on the account. One commenter wrote that the response “gave her more promo than she could’ve ever wanted,” while another commented, “No way @MrBeast took this photo with you. He has more class.”

With more than 458 million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast is one of the most recognizable creators in the world, making him a frequent target for impersonation and misuse.
