Meagan Good is opening up about a smaller but surprisingly personal change that came with building a life alongside Jonathan Majors.

During the April 7 episode of Picture This with Jonica Booth, Good revealed that she recently gave away her cat, Bam Bam, after tensions grew between the pet and the four dogs she now shares with Majors.

Good said Bam Bam, a Bambino cat she had previously shown off on Instagram, struggled to adjust once Majors’ dogs became part of the household.

According to Good, Majors originally brought two dogs into the relationship, and the couple later added more. “The pups came with Jonathan,” she explained. “There was two pups, and then we got a third one, and by the third one, Bam Bam was real upset.”

She said the cat’s behavior began to change as the dogs took over more of the house. “Bam Bam started using the bathroom in the bed,” Good said.

At first, she resisted the idea of rehoming him. “I was like, ‘I don’t know. I’m gonna miss him, and I really want him here.’ He’s my little kitty.”

But after another puppy joined the family, she said the situation reached a breaking point.

When Booth jokingly asked whether she had chosen the puppy over the cat, Good laughed before replying, “I chose the man.”

Bam Bam ultimately found a new home with Quincy Brown, the actor and recording artist who is the son of singer Al B. Sure! and the late Kim Porter, and the stepson of Sean “Diddy” Combs. Good did not indicate when the rehoming happened, but said Bam Bam is doing well.

The revelation arrives less than a month after Good and Majors celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The pair have been publicly linked since May 2023, though they first met months earlier at the Ebony Power 100 gala in October 2022.

Earlier this year, Good and Majors traveled to Guinea, where they were granted citizenship after DNA testing traced their ancestry to the West African nation. During the trip, the couple said they viewed the connection as long-term and even suggested they could eventually spend part of their lives there.
