Per an official release from ABC, the long-running ABC series, now in its 29th season, has lined up a guest roster that blends legacy media, current conversations, and a little internet-fueled chaos.
Maury is scheduled to appear on Monday, January 12, to promote the new docuseries, Dirty Talk: When Daytime Talk Shows Ruled TV, a look back at the era he helped define. While Maury officially retired in 2022, his name never really left the cultural bloodstream—especially in hip-hop spaces.
Since his retirement, Povich has gone viral after publicly floating the idea of coming out of retirement to mediate major rap feuds using his signature lie detector tests.
