Julez Smith and Tommie Lee have set social media off after a series of videos showed the two together in what many are reading as more than just a casual link-up. The clips, which began circulating on March 23, capture the 21-year-old model and the 41-year-old reality star during a night out.
According to People, in one widely shared video, Smith is seen giving Lee a piggyback ride while the two laugh and flirt. “Typa sh*t you do when you like somebody,” Smith says in the clip.
Lee doubles down moments later, calling him “my baby” and adding, “So fine,” as he jokes that it’s “hard to be fine” while carrying her.
“Still fine,” she fires back, laughing.
Another video shows Lee holding onto his arm as they walk together, referencing their “crazy weekend,” while additional footage places them inside a venue watching a live contortionist performance.
Smith’s growing visibility has made moments like this travel fast. As the son of Solange Knowles and nephew of Beyoncé, he has long been adjacent to fame, but he’s recently stepped into his own lane as a fashion model, walking in Paris Fashion Week and signing with NEXT Model Management.
His personal life has also made headlines, including reports linking him to actress Skai Jackson during his teen years.
At the same time, Smith has been vocal about how quickly narratives form around him. During a livestream, he pointed to “misconceptions” as the hardest part of growing up in the public eye, recalling that “grown-ass adults” were labeling him online as early as middle school.
Lee’s public history, however, comes with a very different kind of spotlight. She rose to prominence on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where her volatile relationships and legal issues were central to her storyline.
Over the years, she has faced multiple arrests, including charges tied to battery, DUI, and probation violations. In one of the most serious cases, she pleaded guilty to charges stemming from an incident involving her daughter at school, resulting in a sentence that included probation and mandated recovery programs.
Lee also has six children, though she has custody of only two.
