Brooke Hogan is shutting down online rumors about her personal life, calling recent speculation about her and her HGTV co-star “mean and hateful.”

The singer and TV personality addressed the chatter directly on Instagram after fans began suggesting she had “a thing” with her Rock the Block teammate, Scott McGillivray. Brooke made it clear that the claims were off base, citing her marriage to former NHL player Steven Oleksy and McGillivray’s own family life.

“People looooove to speculate,” she wrote, according to People. “There’s been a lot of people commenting… suggesting we have a ‘thing’ going on. And honestly, it’s just mean and hateful.”

To underline the point, Brooke posted photos of McGillivray with Oleksy and their twins, adding, “If you’re worried about anyone, worry about my hockey player husband stealing his sweet Canadian heart.”

McGillivray, who has been married to his wife Sabrina since 2008, responded in the comments, joking, “I never fed Brooke like this! Just Steve.”

The rumors surfaced as Brooke and McGillivray emerged as early standouts on Season 7 of the popular HGTV show Rock the Block, where celebrity partners team up with design pros to renovate identical homes. Their on-screen chemistry has translated into wins in multiple episodes, putting them ahead of the competition.

Brooke’s response comes during a stretch where she has been increasingly vocal about her personal life, family dynamics, and the legacy of her late father, Hulk Hogan.
