Bre Tiesi is making it clear where she stands with Nick Cannon.
While attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 15, the Selling Sunset star addressed Cannon’s high-profile family dynamic and made it clear that her position is secure, regardless of what anyone else says.
“I’m always number one,” she said during an interview with Extra. “All I know is that I got what I wanted and what makes me feel good, and that’s all that matters.”
Tiesi framed her perspective as intentionally self-focused, adding that she avoids paying attention to other relationships tied to Cannon. “Giving anyone else that kind of attention… is too much power,” she said. “As long as my needs are met, I’m number one. I’m happy.”
Her comments arrive as Cannon’s personal life remains a frequent topic of discussion. The entertainer has 12 children with multiple women, including Tiesi, Abby De La Rosa, Brittany Bell, Alyssa Scott, and LaNisha Cole.
Despite ongoing public scrutiny, several of his children’s mothers have recently spoken about their individual dynamics with him, often emphasizing structure, communication, and personal choice.
“In a sense, it feels monogamous,” she said, while also noting that the arrangement includes “outside factors” tied to his broader family structure.
She also addressed criticism surrounding Cannon’s lifestyle, saying he has been consistent about who he is. “Nobody’s been blindsided,” she said, adding that his intentions and approach to family have been clear over time.
De La Rosa further described him as “the best father, the best provider, the best partner,” and said no one involved has publicly labeled the dynamic as toxic.
