Just days after headlines linked Thais Ramone to a misdemeanor domestic battery case in Nevada, prosecutors have officially declined to move forward with the charge. According to court records obtained by TMZ, the case against the 90 Day Fiancé personality was dropped on May 24, two days after it was initially sent to prosecutors for filing consideration.

The dismissal marks the latest turn in an increasingly public and emotionally charged split between Ramone and her estranged husband, Patrick Mendes. A representative for Ramone told TMZ that she is “choosing to move forward with grace and focus on her family during an incredibly emotional and personal time.”

The rep also emphasized that the dropped charge “speaks for itself,” adding that Ramone is focused on “protecting her peace, raising her daughter, and handling everything with maturity and respect.”

The update arrives in the middle of the couple’s highly publicized breakup. Ramone and Mendes became breakout names within TLC’s reality TV universe through 90 Day Fiancé and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

The pair is also slated to appear on the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, a spinoff centered around couples attempting to salvage struggling relationships through therapy.

In the statement shared with TMZ, Ramone’s representative pushed back against public assumptions surrounding the case. “Situations involving relationships and family dynamics are rarely black and white, and she has no interest in escalating negativity publicly,” the rep said.

The statement also described Ramone as “a devoted mother” and someone who has “always led with heart,” while asking the public to allow “space for healing rather than speculation.”

The now-dismissed charge surfaced only days after Mendes filed for divorce following four years of marriage. Court documents previously reported by TMZ showed Mendes seeking sole legal and physical custody of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Aleesi, while stating the two had been living separately since early May.

Earlier reports also noted financial pressures surrounding the split, including lawsuits tied to debts allegedly connected to Mendes prior to the divorce filing.
