Controversial Kick streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is set to be deported back to Russia following nine months behind bars in the Philippines.

As reported by the Manila Standard, the Philippines’ Department of Interior and Local Government confirmed on Thursday (Jan. 15) that Vitaly has completed his sentence and has been cleared for deportation.

During his appearance as part of a press conference, Vitaly sported a severe new look with a scruffy beard and more hair on the top of his head than he’s known for.

“Let this be a reminder to all our visitors here in the Philippines that while we welcome tourists and treat them with respect, we also expect them to follow our laws, just as we do when we travel abroad,” said Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla. “We have no ill feelings against Vitaly. He has served his time, shown remorse, and is now a free man when he returns to Russia.”

The streamer is expected to be deported back to Russia within the next week. The Bureau of Immigration has confirmed that a deportation order has been issued, but there still needs to be clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation.

Vitaly was arrested in the Philippines last year after he hosted a controversial livestream in which he deliberately disturbed the peace. In several clips from the stream, he was seen harassing locals, including a traffic officer. In another clip, he appeared to steal a patrol motorcycle and played pranks on security guards.

Not long after his arrest, it was confirmed that he would remain in the country amid the pending charges against him. In June, he showed significant weight loss behind bars.
