Twitch streamer Timothy "Lil Gara" Brooks has been arrested on charges of kidnapping and assault in Miami. The arrest comes a year after he went viral for his live reaction to the news that his girlfriend had allegedly cheated on him.

According to Miami-Dade County officials, the 20-year-old Brooks had been charged with kidnapping with a weapon or firearm, burglary with assault or battery, and carrying a concealed weapon.

In a since-deleted post on her Instagram account, a woman who claims to be Brooks' girlfriend who goes by the name Indiyabb detailed her experience and said she plans to speak about it further.

"I'm back, thank you for everyone who checked up on me while I went thru something very traumatic which almost caused me to lose my life," she wrote. "I love y'all."

On her TikTok, she also shared a video with the caption, "Me after my ex almost killed me."

His arrest comes just over a year after he went viral for a live incident in which he reacted to his girlfriend allegedly cheating on him, although it's unclear if the woman in the viral clip is the same as the alleged victim in his arrest.
