Canadian-Mexican Instagram model and extreme body mod influencer Mary Magdalene, real name Denise Ivonne Jarvis Gongora, has reportedly died at age 33 after she fell from the balcony of an apartment in Thailand, per TMZ.
The social media star, who famously got 38J breast implants, fell to her death from the ninth floor of a high-rise apartment block. The news was first reported by local Thai outlet Phuket News earlier this week. Sources close to her family also confirmed with British tabloid The Daily Mail that she was found dead in the parking area of the Patong Tower on Tuesday (Dec. 9), not long after she checked into the property for one night.
Her friend Eden “The Doll” Estrada also confirmed her death in a post on their Instagram stories. "While on my flight home last night I found out she had passed away hours after we were supposed to meet," they wrote. "I am so devastated. Hold your loved ones close. You never know when it's the last time you'll see or speak to them."
Her brother, Ivan, shared a tribute on his Instagram, too. "I wish I'd spent more time getting to know you," he wrote alongside a photo of them getting lunch together. "You are so funny and so creative, way more than I'll ever be. I love you much more than words will ever say. You are my world. I wish things were different. Thank you for everything I love you sis."
Before she died, she allegedly posted the ending from the 1998 Jim Carrey movie The Truman Show, in which Carrey's character says, "And in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night." Alongside the clip, she shared a childhood picture of herself. One of her multiple Instagram accounts has since been changed to @marymagdalenedied.
She previously went viral in 2023 after one of her 38J breast implants deflated, leaving her with one breast. She suffered from multiple health complications as a result of her various surgeries throughout the years and said in 2022 that she couldn't close her mouth anymore due to all the procedures she got on her lips.
