The woman who was recently spotted kissing viral TikTok star and chef Desmond Scott has shot down rumors that he cheated on his estranged wife, Kirsty Scott, with her.
In a video shared on social media, Marissa Springer addressed the images that showed her making out with Desmond. “I’m going to say this one time and one time only, I’m not the one he cheated with,” said the 24-year-old, who did not name Kirsty or Desmond directly in the brief clip, which can be seen below. “Everyone involved in this situation knows that it was not me.”
She also addressed rumors that began to circulate about her gender identity after the photos circulated online. “And let’s clear the air right now: I am definitely not transgender,” she continued. “I have always been a girl, I was born a girl, I am a girl, I’m just a girl. I love being a girl, no offense to the transgenders. And why are you guys calling clearly straight man gay as an insult? I thought that wasn’t something we don’t do in 2026.”
Marissa said that she wasn’t aware of who Scott was when they met at a bar, but the “vibes were there."
“I don’t have kids, I don’t cook, I don’t really watch family content, I’m not on that side of TikTok,” she added. “Also, there’s so many fake accounts of me right now and a whole fake relationship. I don’t have a boyfriend… I’m going to get hate regardless of whether I post a video or not, [but] I just wanted to clear my name.”
Springer ended the video by alleging that those involved in the drama have received death threats, but she did not clarify who was on the receiving end of said threats.
Last month, Kirsty filed for divorce from Desmond, citing alleged infidelity. In the filing, she claimed there was no reasonable chance for reconciliation. Before the divorce, the pair built an online brand around family content. They met as teenagers and married in 2014, and have two children. Desmond shared an apology on his Instagram Story after the news of their divorce went public, and admitted he and his estranged wife “faced challenges” in their relationship and “made sincere efforts to work through them.”
“Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” he wrote. “I ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives.
