Following Johnny Knoxville’s announcement that a new Jackass movie is on the way, it seems as though Bam Margera might be on board, too.

As reported by TMZ, Margera has reportedly reached a deal with the producers of Jackass to appear in the new film, details of which have yet to be confirmed. Margera, who was fired from Jackass Forever due to his history of substance abuse and various legal issues, will apparently appear in old and never-before-seen footage featured in the movie.

When Knoxville announced the new movie, he stopped short of calling it Jackass 5, and sources told TMZ that the new movie will serve as a sort of “greatest hits,” with old, new, and never-before-seen stunts. Margera has said that he’s been sober for over a year now, but indicated last year that he was officially done with Jackass.

“They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it and I just, you couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them,” Margera said in an interview with Cinemablend last year. “The damage has been done.” He took the producers of the film to court, but it seems as though he’s open to the idea of collaborating with his former Jackass castmates again, even if it’s only in previously recorded footage.

Just last month, his co-star Chris Pontius shared a picture of a breakfast date he went on with Magera.

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday (Jan. 7), Knoxville announced that a new Jackass movie is on its way. “Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang,” he wrote. “We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!! We will see you in theatres June 26th.🎉❤️🎉 More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first!!”

The film arrives four years after the arrival of Jackass Forever, which was followed by the deleted scenes compilation, Jackass 4.5.
