For a while now, we’ve heard that artificial intelligence is going to “disrupt” the TV and film industries. But if a recent trend on social media is any indication, major studios and small filmmakers alike have nothing to worry about just yet.

Over the past month, videos from the TikTok user @trombonechef started to gain massive popularity online. The videos would often show anthropomorphic fruit cheating on their respective spouses, usually with larger fruit. The first of the videos showed a strawberry woman who begins an affair with her eggplant boss, only to later welcome a child that looks nothing like her husband.

The videos aren’t exactly the most impressive or even productive use of AI, but they’ve quickly taken over the internet and spread across social media like wildfire. The trend has even inspired accounts dedicated to the content, which often tell expedited stories about betrayal with awkward AI-produced voiceovers. The clips have garnered millions of views, with one clip from @trombonechef racking up over 26 million views alone.

The videos have only gotten more deranged ever since, showing more ridiculous incidents of cheating fruits, including one that shows a strawberry woman simply tossing her child off a yacht. Some of the videos also come across as racist, but it’s unclear if that’s the intent behind whatever is going through the minds of the people who feel compelled to get AI to pump this slop out.

Check out some reactions to the bizarre trend below.
