18-Year-Old’s Parents Say Ezra Miller Groomed Daughter, Who Claims Actor Gave ‘Loving Support' and 'Protection’

Tokata Iron Eyes says her parents' grooming allegations against actor Ezra Miller in actuality "hold no weight and are frankly transphobic."

Headline fixture Ezra Miller has been accused of grooming an 18-year-old activist by her parents.

As TMZ reports, recently filed legal documents claim the actor—who uses they/them pronouns—met Tokata Iron Eyes in 2016 at the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota. She was just 12 at the time, while Miller was 23. Her parents said the two developed a friendship and Miller even flew Tokata to London in 2017 when the activist was 14 to visit sets where they filmed the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Tokata’s parents have accused Miller of providing their daughter with alcohol and illicit substances including cannabis and LSD. In December 2021, Iron Eyes dropped out of a private school in Massachusetts, and her parents believe Miller is the cause. The parents also allege that when they flew to Miller’s home in Vermont in January to meet with their daughter, she appeared to have bruises and was not in possession of her driver’s license, bank cards, or car keys. Additionally, Tokata supposedly went traveling with the actor and has even been spotted with Ezra in Hawaii, where Miller was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman with a chair.

“Ezra uses violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata,” read the legal docs. They allege that Miller has routinely displayed “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior.”

In a statement shared on their Instagram, Tokata denied the allegations thrown at Miller.

“I dropped out of [Bard] five months ago, my friend and comrade William passed shortly there after, my mind was incredibly impacted and I’ve needed space and time for the processing of grief. My comrade Ezra Miller for the entirety of the aforementioned era has only provided loving support and invaluable protection throughout this period of loss,” wrote Tokata in the post. “My father and his allegations hold no weight and are frankly transphobic and based in the notion that I am somehow incapable of coherent thought or opposing opinions to those of my own kindred worrying about my well being. I am now aware of the severity of emotional and psychological manipulation I was made to endure while in my parents home.”

A judge has signed the parents’ request for a protective order that would prohibit Ezra Miller from contacting Tokata Iron Eyes and her family, although it cannot be served because the two’s whereabouts are currently unknown. A hearing is scheduled for July 12.
