President Obama Orders American Flags Lowered to Half-Staff to Honor Paris Victims

President Barack Obama issued a statement expressing America's solidarity with France.

In wake of the Paris attacks on Friday night that left over 120 people dead and 300 injured, U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement on Sunday ordering flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Nov. 19 to honor the Paris victims.

ABC News released the president's statement that reads:

In the full statement, the president expresses America's solidarity with France by saying, "We will do whatever it takes, working with the nations and peoples from around the world, to bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice, and to go after terrorists who threaten our people."
