It was so quick that someone out of the loop might miss it, but xQc threw some subtle shade at rival BruceDropEmOff during a recent livestream.
The 29-year-old Canadian recently took his viewers through Complex’s list of 25 Best Streamers. While xQc, born Félix Lengyel, landed the No. 8 spot, he appeared to skip over one particular streamer while going through the list with his viewers.
In a clip circulating online, xQc appears to make brief remarks about streamers like Ironmouse and TheSketchReal on Complex’s list until he spotted 24-year-old BruceDropEmOff in the No. 13 slot, skipping over him completely.
Their feud stems from the time Bruce left Kick in June, criticizing the streaming platform for stifling his creativity and making his content “lazy,” Dexerto reported.
xQc, who signed a $100 million deal with Kick in June, defended the platform and accused Bruce of “bad-mouthing” without providing any constructive feedback.
Things intensified when xQc sided with Kick after a former employee, itsMelissaDude, accused the company of fostering a hostile work environment and said employees openly used racist and homophobic slurs. She also claimed there were discussions of making a lowball offer to a terminally ill streamer.
Bruce went on a heated rant about xQc at the time, referring to him as a "golden boy" and "fucking dick eater."
"On my mama, you eat mad dick, n***a. Fuck you, n***a," Bruce said. "I don't give a fuck, I'm crashing … When all that drama happened … I was being quiet, I let him say everything he had to say about me. Now it's time to talk about your white crackheaded ass."
