Monica Lewinsky jokingly asked Halle Berry if she’s interested in trading places as hip-hop’s lyrical muse.

On Friday (April 25), the Oscar-winning actress responded to a viral tweet mentioning how often she’s been referenced in rap songs.

“And I appreciate each rap song reference.  🤍 what are you guys’ favorite?” Berry wrote in a quote post.

Lewinsky made her way into the conversation on Saturday and jokingly replied, “wanna trade?!? 😉”

Needless to say, the 51-year-0ld activist is hinting at her own history of being referenced in pop culture after her widely publicized affair with President Bill Clinton in the ‘90s.

Lewinsky once estimated that about 40 rap songs referenced the incident during a 2015 TED Talk. However, a report from the Cut that same year discovered about 128 songs (excluding most remixes) of songs that name dropped her.

Some of the more notable tracks with nods to Lewinsky include Beyoncé’s “Partition,” Eminem’s “Rap God,” and Nicki Minaj’s “Itty Bitty Piggy.”

On the other hand, Berry enjoyed more flattering references in songs like Kanye West’s “New Workout Plan,” J. Cole’s “Higher” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees.”

“I think of these references like my children, in a way,” Berry told Sean Evans at the seven-minute mark of her 2019 Hot Ones episode. “There’s no way I could pick one. I love all these artists. I’m always flattered when any one of them include me, and that they still remember me, or even know who I am. So, to pick one would be like picking my daughter over my son. I love them all.”
