Halle Berry addressed the critics who have a lot to say about her love life.

On Monday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the Oscar-winning actress covered a variety of topics and took a moment to directly respond to detractors who doubt her ability to keep a man.

“I’ve heard people say, ‘Something must be wrong with Halle Berry. She can't keep a man.’ Who's to say I wanna keep a man?” Berry told Barrymore when the topic arose. “I don't wanna keep the wrong man. Like, I'm not crazy, right?”

She continued, “So when you find that you make a mistake—we all make mistakes. We have a right to say, ‘Oh God, this was a mistake. Let me start again.’ We have a right to do that.”

Outside of addressing her dating life during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show this week, Berry discussed her new Menopause platform, Respin, "a community for and by women in support of their health and wellness." The 58-year-old also shared how her doctor misdiagnosed her perimenopause symptoms as a "really bad case of herpes."

Berry’s previous husbands include former MLB player David Justice, and R&B singer-songwriter Eric Benét. According to People, she welcomed daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry in March 2008 and a son, Maceo-Robert Martine, in 2013 with ex Olivier Martinez, whom she married that year before splitting in 2016.

In an interview on Today with Jenna & Friends earlier this month, Berry said she was able to “manifest” her current boyfriend Van Hunt, who she’s been dating since 2020.

"Having gone through three divorces, I finally knew what wasn't working, and I realized I was always saying to the universe what I didn't want — what I didn't want," she told hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Justin Sylvester.

"So guess what I did? I manifested what I didn't want,” she continued. “So, I really had to change my thinking, and instead of thinking of what I didn't want, I had to get intentional with what I did want.”
