The Kid Mero is trolling Akademiks by volunteering to send him off to the military.
After the U.S. Army recently announced plans to raise the maximum enlistment age to 42, Mero used the opportunity to make a joke at the expense of the 34-year-old streamer as their feud recently intensified.
“THEY SENDIN YA MFS TO THE MEAT GRINDER SEND @Akademiks,” Mero wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday (March 24). “FIRST HES BIG AS A DUCK BLIND PROLLY ABSORB SOME ROUNDS AND SAVE THE GUYS BEHIND HIM. WHEN HE PISS ON HIMSELF THE ODOR WILL REPEL ENEMY COMBATANTS [brain emojis].”
Akademiks has seemingly yet to respond to the tweet, but it seems like a response might not come anytime soon.
After a heated exchange on X last weekend, where Ak called Mero a "DEI hire" destined to be fired and Mero fired back by calling him a “fat fuckin loser dog,” then doubled down with a scorched-earth rant during a Hot 97 broadcast on Monday (March 23), Ak said in a livestream that he's waiting for the right moment to respond.
“I'm waiting for the day you get fired,” Ak said hours after the Hot 97 roast, as seen near the 33-minute mark linked here. “I'm just not going to give you any content that you can respond back to because we're not going back and forth. But trust me, I'm going to deliver the eulogy. Your eulogy is written out already, okay? It's bookmarked, it's indexed. It's so great. It's going to be one of my finest performances ever.
“But for now, I get to just laugh at you thinking that we're about to engage in something that might help you out, not me.”
