Twitch streamer Hasan Piker is responding after federal investigators reportedly subpoenaed him in a widening Cuba probe examining whether U.S. activists violated sanctions tied to the communist regime.

Piker, 34, and CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin, 73, received “Requests for Information” from the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control over a March trip to Cuba organized through the "Nuestra América Convoy," according to Fox News Digital.

Investigators are reportedly examining whether activists financed travel, coordinated logistics, or carried out prohibited transactions involving Cuba, including possible stays at hotels banned under U.S. restrictions.

The investigation reportedly involves the Treasury, Justice, and State Departments as part of a broader crackdown on alleged foreign influence operations and extremist political networks operating in the U.S.

Sources also told Fox that authorities are scrutinizing as many as 40 Americans and could issue more subpoenas.

Fox’s report, which was published on Saturday (May 23), did not specify when officials issued the subpoena.

Piker responded to the reports Saturday (May 23) on X, writing, "the american govt would rather try to criminalize delivering aid to a country we've starved, than punish the epstein class."

He also shared a photo of himself in a bathtub to his Instagram Story along with the caption, “THE FEDS ARE AFTER ME FREE YOUR MAN”

Benjamin also reacted on X, writing, "Taking medical supplies to pediatric hospitals in Cuba is now a crime? Saving the lives of babies is a crime? This administration is beyond grotesque."

Piker documented the trip online before traveling to Havana alongside CodePink activists and groups linked to billionaire Neville Roy Singham's left-wing funding network.
