While two of Heidi Klum’s four children are stepping into the spotlight as models, her more private son, Johan, 18, found himself there too — at least for his high school graduation.
The proud mom, 52, posted rare photos of the teen to her Instagram, as reported by Page Six on Thursday, June 12. Johan’s graduation was the previous day, when he wore a full cap and gown to receive his diploma, shown in photographs captured by the outlet. There was also a pic of Klum kissing her youngest son on the cheek.
“Cheering you on today and every day,” the Project Runway icon captioned the share. “CONGRATULATIONS JOHAN. My heart is full of joy and pride.” The message was accented with six red heart emojis, as well as a graduation cap, partygoer, and prayer hands emojis.
Johan’s older siblings were also there: Henry, 19, and Leni, 21. (Sister Lou, 15, was not mentioned in the story.) Klum and Seal — who adopted Leni, whose father is Flavio Briatore — divorced in 2014, and Klum married Tom Kaulitz in early 2019.
It’s unclear what Johan is planning to do next. Klum and all four children live in NYC, where the supermodel told People in October 2024 that Johan toured Parsons School of Design. Leni goes to a nearby New York University.
Klum’s eldest child has seen some early success in modeling, having already graced the cover of Vogue Germany (with Mom) and modeled for high-fashion brands such as Dior and Dolce & Gabbana. Henry made his Paris Fashion Week debut in January.
Klum, meanwhile, hasn’t slowed down. She served as a judge for 11 seasons of America’s Got Talent, and on February 3, she announced that she’s returning to Project Runway. The quirky announcement showed a pregnant Klum and was captioned, “Mother is coming home ❤️Excited to return to one of my first babies: Project Runway!” Spice Girl Mel B will replace Klum in the judge’s chair on AGT.
