Earlier today, Wale voiced his thoughts on his project, the Album About Nothing, getting snubbed from the Grammys with a series of jokes and sarcastic tweets. Though most of it seemed like he wasn't really being serious, Wale did mention to one fan that Kendrick Lamar hasn't answered his phone since he received his last Grammy nomination. "It's hard out here," Wale wrote in the tweet before going on with his business.
Most shrugged this off as nothing, but Jay Rock just directly responded to Wale on Twitter, and said "I SEE WHY U NOT MMG SMH." Rock rarely tweets so this was all a pretty big surprise, though it hasn't escalated because Wale hasn't responded back as of yet. Of course, Rock's tweet was in reference to Meek Mill telling Wale on multiple occasions that he wasn't really a member of their rap collective, MMG. If you missed it, the Grammy nominees were announced this morning, and Kendrick received the most nominations with 11.
