Stevie J has revealed he walked away from a number of friends who didn't stay loyal to Diddy during the mogul's criminal trial last year.

Appearing as a guest on Flex 98.5 this week, the producer — who made his name as part of Diddy's Hitmen production team — opened up about the turbulent year he's just endured, which included being by the side of his friend Diddy (real name Sean Combs) and supporting him at a time when no one else wanted to.

"The last year has been quite a ride for me — the last year and a half. As you witnessed, I was the only one holding my homie down before he went to jail," he explained, before confirming to one of the radio hosts who it was he was referring to.

"After all of that, and after seeing who really be truly in your corner, and who’s rocking witchu and all that, I left a whole bunch of fake n***as," he said, adding that he opted instead to just rock with his family."

After he was commended by one of the show's hosts for standing by his friend and collaborator through the drama, he questioned where the accusations of child sexual assault Diddy faced at one point had gone.

"All that stuff, where did it go?" he asked. "In the garbage."

Diddy is currently serving a 50 month sentence at a federal facility in New Jersey after being found guilty on multiple counts of violating the Mann Act.

Combs was sentenced for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, related to his now infamous "freak offs" or "hotel nights" — drug-fueled, hours or days-long sexual encounters involving a girlfriend and male escorts that Combs would arrange, orchestrate, pay for, and often record.

He was convicted following an eight-week trial last summer, in which he was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

Back in early 2024, Stevie J sent up a prayer for Diddy's sons, Justin and Christian Combs, as well as the mogul himself after his homes were raided by Homeland Security prior to his trial.

It was around that same time that Stevie J, along with Diddy, was named in a sexual assault lawsuit filed by producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, who alleged that Diddy tried to coerce him into sexual intercourse with Stevie.

In the documents were screenshots from a NSFW video that Diddy allegedly showed Jones, claiming that it was Stevie having sex with another man. However, it was later revealed that the images were of adult performer D’Angelo "Knockout" Marquis, who responded to the allegations on X.

In a follow-up post, Knockout responded to an X user who said: "The photo does look like you. These people are doing a bit much."

"I know and they will not bring [Stevie J] down off my name, try again," Knockout wrote.
