YoungBoy Never Broke Again has become the most certified rapper of all time by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The RIAA announced the accolade on X, revealing that, with the release of his new album Slime Cry, he has 126 RIAA-certified titles.
YoungBoy released Slime Cry on Jan. 16, days after he teased the release date and promptly deleted a post promoting the album.
Slime Cry is the follow-up to YoungBoy’s 2025 projects, MASA, More Leaks and Deshawn. The LP was supposed to originally come out on Nov. 28 until YoungBoy tweeted that he “forgot” about it.
When he spoke to Complex’s Jordan Rose during the Brooklyn date of last year’s Make America Slime Again Tour, YoungBoy didn't specify what the length of the Slime City would be — but he explained that he recorded 30 songs for the LP.
Speaking of YoungBoy’s MASA Tour, Touring Data revealed that the trek was one of the highest-grossing hip-hop tours in U.S. history.
Last October, YoungBoy’s tour sold 500,000 tickets across its 42 shows, giving it a total gross of more than $70 million. The success of the trek put him on a short list that features Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Drake on the list of the top 10 highest-grossing hip-hop tours.
