Ross called fans hypocrites for saying YoungBoy was "the realest," but not wanting to hear details.

YouTuber Trap Lore Ross has responded to the backlash he’s received for creating a video alleging that NBA YoungBoy is responsible for 19 different murders.

Shortly after that video's release, Trap Lore Ross released a new video defending himself and calling out what he sees as the hypocrisy of fans who support the rapper.

"It's like you want to have it both ways," he said. "When King Von told YoungBoy, 'You got cap in your raps,' a lot of people said, 'Nah, YoungBoy the realest, bro. He ain't capping in those raps about having all of those bodies.'"

"He said it and been saying it for years!” continued Ross after pointing to some of YoungBoy’s lyrics claiming specific numbers of bodies. "I feel like I'm well within my right as a fan, hip-hop-ologist... to discover and decipher what these lyrics are all about."

You can see Ross' comments starting at around the 55 second mark of the video below.

This isn’t the first time that Trap Lore Ross has received backlash for covering NBA YoungBoy. In 2023, the YouTuber opened up about the hate was receiving from fans on his Instagram Story.

“1 Picture and my DMS are a warzone,” wrote Trap Lore Ross. “Grown adults Sending death threats over content they haven’t even seen. Wait and see what I actually have to say on the topic.”

It makes sense that Trap Lore Ross would create content about NBA YoungBoy. In October, Touring Data revealed just how popular the rapper is, with his Make America Slime Again tour becoming one of the highest-grossing hip-hop tours in US history.

YoungBoy’s tour grossed more than $70 million, thanks to 500,000 tickets sold for its 42 shows. Its success puts him in elite category with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jay-Z, and 50 Cent.
