Young Thug sat down with podcast host Big Bank to talk about the leaked calls that have become the talk of the internet.
“I ain’t never been a n***a to pillow talk, to talk about nobody else in my life,” said Thug around the 21-minute mark.
“These last few days, I just been sitting around like, ‘What the fuck was I thinking?” he continued. “I think I was just so fucked up and I felt like it was just over. I’m sitting in jail 24 hours [a day]. At this point, I’m just like man, I don’t give a fuck. Life ain’t what I’m thinking it is.”
Thug’s jail calls have been continuously leaked in recent days, dealing with such topics as his feelings about Gunna, his issues with Drake for not asking the president to release him, and whether or not he finds GloRilla attractive.
On a call with Mariah the Scientist, Thug called GloRilla unattractive, complaining about her having a “big ass head” and “big mouth.” As if there were any question about how he felt, he said that he “would not pursue her.”
Soon after that call leaked, Thug hopped online to apologize to the rapper on X, tagging her in a post and writing, “first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin.”
In another leaked call, Thug criticized Future for seemingly being a bad parent.
“You supposed to be locked in with your kids but you locked in 100% with the bitches, that’s wrong,” he said.
Thug also seemingly addressed the leaks on X with a post saying, “Bashing me only going to fuck that rap community up more, I’m the blue to this fake ass game.”
