Travis Scott has broken the record ticket and merchandise sales in Japan thanks to his “Tokyo Takeover.”

The rapper performed his largest headlining performance ever at the Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa, Japan, on Nov. 8. Ahead of the show, Scott announced a “Tokyo Takeover” that brought a special Cactus Jack pop-up experience and more to the city, helping him to set a new sales record.

According to a press release, Scott’s stadium show was the highest-grossing show of any hip-hop artist in Tokyo history. His Belluna Dome Collection broke the record for merch sales at any concert in Tokyo, too.

On Nov. 7 through Nov. 9, Scott’s Cactus Jack had a pop-up experience in Shibuya that featured exclusive items made in collaboration with Takashi Murakami and Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara.

During the record-breaking show, Scott shocked his fans by bringing out Kanye West to perform some of his classic songs. In a clip shared online, Ye removed a mask to reveal himself and launched into “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”

According to fan posts online, Scott and Ye performed several songs together including “Runaway,” “Heartless,” “Flashing Lights,” “Stronger,” and “All of the Lights.”

In other news, Scott predicted on X that he will eventually win a Grammy. On the day the 2026 Grammy nominees were announced, Scott responded to a post listing artists—including himself—who have never won.

“This will change for me one day,” wrote Scott. “Just wait.”
