King Harris was arrested in Georgia following a traffic stop where he was uncooperative — then his father, T.I., pulled up to attempt to resolve the situation.
In bodycam footage that was obtained by TMZ, King gets cited for doing over 75 MPH with a Cybertruck in an area with a 45 MPH speed limit. When police officers attempted to get him to step out of the vehicle, though, King was argumentative and decided to stay inside.
The officer reveals during the course of the unfolding situation that he wanted to have King step outside of the car because he wanted to separate him from an alleged firearm that was inside. Officers also discovered a vape pen with 10 milligrams of THC inside it.
King ended up refusing to get out of the car multiple times, leading to his arrest for willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
After cuffing King, the cops used his phone to get someone to pick up the vehicle and the gun inside, causing T.I. to come and ask if the issue could be resolved right there.
Of course, that didn’t happen, and King ended up being booked on a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, along with traffic citations for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.
At the time of his arrest, King was wearing a Pikachi Pokémon onesie that made his booking photo unintentionally hilarious. Later that day, he posted a video on Instagram addressing the situation while sitting in a go-kart and rapping. In the caption, he wrote, “living a good Pikachu life in Tokyo then come back to ATL and team rocket(F**KIN POLICE) catch me wit a master ball and throw me n jail all night😤🤦🏽♂️🤣 WELLL DAMNNN FUCK EM🤷🏽♂️🤣‼️”
King’s latest run-in with law enforcement comes almost two years after rhe was arrested in Dunwoody, Georgia, after almost hitting an officer as he left a gas station.
