King Harris gives his side of the story after he was seen on Instagram Live getting into a heated exchange with Waffle House employees over a messed up order late last month.
During an appearance with The Morning Hustle, Harris confirmed suspicions that his complaint was over getting pickles after explicitly saying he did not want them. King said he asked a staffer to remake his order, but was given attitude over the request.
“It wasn’t even over the pickles because when I gave it to him, he had an attitude and threw it on the ground, like, ‘I ain’t making this shit!’” Harris said.
When the incident was taken to Instagram Live, King and the Waffle House employees had escalated to the point where the son of T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris proposed taking their issue “outside.”
“I’ll show you what I do. Come here, c’mon,” he said in the video. “I’m outside, come out and say something … Get yo employees.”
Harris argued on The Morning Hustle that he simply wanted what he paid for.
“I paid for it. I shouldn’t have to do that,” he said. “If I tell you how I want it cooked and I paid you, that’s how I deserve my food.”
Harris also spoke about his feud with 50 Cent, defending his decision to bring up the TV and entertainment mogul’s late mother by wearing a shirt with her face on it.
“You post my mama. You got this shit going on for a lifetime, why can’t I do the same with y’all?” he said. “Now, I don’t speak on the dead. That’s not my character. But, at the end of the day, when it come to defending mama, whatever we gotta go, we’re gonna go there.”
Even though he “hates” how everything transpired, King was matching 50’s energy.
“I hate that it went there, but grown ass n***a wanna play, we gonna play. You wanna troll, we gonna troll. However you wanna do it, we gonna do it.”
