Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, has revealed that Mack Maine was the reason Disney didn't want to partner with her on a project.

On Thursday's (December 11) episode of her podcast Heir Time, Carter sat down with Fat Joe’s daughter, Azzy Milan, to talk about being the daughter of a hip-hop icon and what comes with it.

During the course of the conversation, Carter asked Milan about people making assumptions about her based on what her father does, which led to the former opening up about what seems like a frustrating experience.

"Because of who my dad is, they're going to put that on me," Carter said (around the 30:44 mark in the clip below). "Even with the Disney channel, my uncle had a song that said: "In about three years, holler at me Miley Cyrus." After laughing it off, Carter said: "Disney don’t play."

Maine’s lyric comes from the 2009 Young Money track "Every Girl." At the time, Cyrus was 17 years old, and Maine seemingly suggested that he’d be romantically interested in her after she matured a bit more and reached the legal age of 18.

That same year, Maine posted about Cyrus multiple times on Twitter (now X), seemingly counting down the days until she was finally legal to date. "Happy bdayyyyyyyy 2 my babygirl Miley Cyrus… 17yrs old…1 more yr…luv," wrote Maine.

"So y’all really go act like my baby Miley wasn't looking super duper hot tonight???" he wrote on X a month before the previous post.

Maine’s comments recently resurfaced when he came to Drake’s defense in his beef with Kendrick Lamar. After Maine posted several laughing faces and robotic arms to promote Drake’s "The Heart Part 6," fans brought back up his comments about Cyrus — with one person writing that OVO was a "grooming factory."
