Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak are fueling dating rumors for the upteenth time after being spotted out hand-in-hand in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ and footage obtained by the outlet, .Paak and Carey were reportedly catching a screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2 at Century City Mall on May 7th. The two were sporting fancy (and sparkly) outfits and held hands walking into and out of the theater.

Carey and .Paak being spotted together comes at an interesting time, following the latter being captured with Jeannie Mai back in February before Valentine’s Day. Back then, .Paak and Mai were spotted at the former’s West Hollywood establishment, Andy’s.
Aside from that, .Paak and Carey have been the subject of intense romance rumors for almost two years. The pair have stopped short of confirming their alleged relationship despite intense speculation.
Last September, Carey played off relationship rumors when speaking with Gayle King for CBS Mornings about her connection with .Paak.
“He just likes to hold my hand,” she said. “He just grabs my hand — I don’t know what he’s doing.”
When King attempted to probe Carey about her obviously joking response, Carey doubled down on the bit.
"He's in a hand-holding club," she said. “That’s what it is.”
Months before that, .Paak confirmed that he was working on new music with Carey on an episode of Track Star and confirmed his early romantic feelings for her when he was a kid.
“I remember in, like, fifth grade or something, watching the music videos and having a huge crush,” he said. “We’re working on some music on her new album.”
In 2024, TMZ’s sources claimed that the two weren’t in a relationship and that “they merely look cute together.”
