Lil Nas X was caught roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked this week — and the boots he was wearing are now up for auction on eBay.
TMZ reports that the white cowboy boots, which are a size 13, are listed at $10,000. There aren’t any bids on them at the time of this writing, so if anyone wants to own a piece of pop culture history, they should head on over to the listing asap.
Lil Nas X wore the boots in a now viral video that surfaced on Thursday (August 21), featuring him strolling around Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles at night. In the clip, the seemingly disoriented rapper told the person who was recording him to go to a party. Afterwards, he placed a traffic cone on his head.
When cops came to help him, Lil Nas X was arrested. "Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer," public information officer Charles Miller said.
As of this writing, Lil Nas X is behind bars for the weekend until his bail hearing next week. In order to have his bail set, he’ll have to wait until at least Monday (August 25) because there are other people in front of him to see the judge.
According to LA County Sheriff's Department records that were viewed by Complex, he’s at a jail in Van Nuys.
The reason that Lil Nas X wasn’t given a citation and released, which is typical of misdemeanors, was that the situation wasn’t a non-violent offense.
Earlier this year, Lil Nas X had a previous health scare when he was hospitalized due to facial paralysis.
