Lil Kim has jokingly named Cardi B her new manager after the latter brought her out to perform at Madison Square Garden.
During Cardi’s performance at Madison Square Garden on March 4th for her Little Miss Drama Tour, she brought out Lil Kim to perform her verse from Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm (Remix).”
Weeks after Cardi’s shows at MSG wrapped, Lil Kim took to social media to celebrate Cardi, show some footage from her guest performance, and thank her for the opportunity.
“You already know I got you forever 💕,” began Lil Kim, tagging Cardi. “Watching you step into your power is so beautiful, and I’m happy to even be a part of it.”
“When I saw us on that stage 2gether… I totally got your vision,” Kim added after referring to Cardi as a big sister. “I was looking at my twin, my love, my soul sister 4life 💕”
Then, the legendary rapper dropped the (fake) news that Cardi would be in charge of her business affairs. “If you trying to get in touch with me, call my manager Cardi 😹 (inside joke),” wrote Lil Kim. “The love you guys showed Cardi and I was unmatched… truly heartwarming💕.”
Cardi later returned the love with a just as heartwarming post dedicated to Lil Kim.
“I can’t thank you enough for joining me on stage!!! You are forever and always the blue print and a queen and you need to NEVER forget that!!! Fck all that humble shit you deserve to walk in your power everyday,” penned Cardi.
Cardi’s surprise guests have been a huge part of her Little Miss Drama tour. Days after her MSG performances, she performed at the Prudential Center in New Jersey and brought out Fetty Wap, essentially turning her show into a grand homecoming moment for the rapper, who’s currently home on supervised release after being sentenced to six years in prison in 2023.
After Cardi urged the crowd to shout “welcome home” to Fetty Wap, the rapper performed his breakout 2014 hit song “Trap Queen,” which sent the arena into a frenzy.
